Dakota (1974 - Dutch)

Just finished streaming this little gem on Amazon. Its a movie about a guy who single-handed runs a one-aircraft freight and taxi service in and around the Caribbean- with side excursions here and there. He's a middle-aged guy who loves to fly and loves his old C-47 Dakota. He's not too particular about what sort of freight he carries so long as it pays and allows him to keep flying his beloved bird.

The plot of the movie is very entertaining in an off-beat sorta way.

But, what makes Dakota doubly entertaining, is its attention to flying details. You get a good look at what makes a DC-3 tick.

Well worth a gander.
