MSFS Internet connection dropping out

I have noticed that I am increasingly getting "internet connection lost" messages flying in 2020. I have flown this sim since it's launch back in August 2020 and have never had this before. There is no issue with the broadband connection to the house - I have tested Netflix and live sport tonight and nobody else here is doing anything different in terms of normal usage on a Friday evening. I hate to suggest it but as increasing numbers of customers seem to be coming back from 2024 are MS/ASOBO now having overload on their MSFS 2020 infrastructure....

I saw a note on the MSFS forums that mentioned that these connection breaks could be caused by a clash with ORBX Mesh. I am trying that out now. Just hope this resolves it as the connection breaks are becoming more frequent for me. One things this has shown so far is that the latest world update for UK renders the UK ORBX meshes as redundant. I can't see any difference without them so far.

So far no loss of connection warnings post ORBX mesh switch off ….
