Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

What's a LET-400? I've flown a few times with a LET L-410 (a Czech company btw)

yes i know i made a misstake...now...coulda swore i was right yesterday...but i kept staring at that "400" thinking...that aint right....but oh well...yes i meant the LET L-410,and yes i know its Czech....but its all that part of the world...dont the russians fly them?

from wiki:
Of the more than 1,100 units built, roughly 500 remain in service. The majority were delivered to the former Soviet Union, but have been resold, particularly to airlines in Asia, Africa and South America. Forty aircraft are in use throughout Europe for commercial operation or skydiving. There are also an unknown number in Russia and ex-Soviet states. The aircraft can be used with short or even unpaved runways.

its ok Dave.. I've had lots of moments in life when i thought i was right, only to find out it was business as usual ::lol::...
