There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

The unique P-26 is an absolute need today in FSX.
It is not.
Nothing is.
..that town of yours is getting in your nerves.....

Oh!!! you must have gotten off the left side of your bed this morning!...did you have eggs and milk???..what an attitude??.....that town of yours is getting in your nerves.....
:mixedsmi:
Didn't mean to step on your toes, Gera.
I'm simply sick of reading "We need [aircraft] in FSX! [For this and that reason]." here.
If you had asked if there was a FSX rendition of the P-26, I would have been okay with it. Not everyone knows his way around the MSFS corner of the web and where to find what add-on, so asking if and where something can be found is totally understandable.
But simply yelling out that the community needs a certain aircraft is just...wrong. It implies that we're one single hivemind, which we clearly aren't. I for example have no use for anything slow and/or without turbines...
Furthermore, this kind of demand just screams "I want an aircraft and I'm too lazy to learn making it myself despite of all the information out there that would make the job fairly easy" (not aimed at you). I find this kind of offensive to all the developers who take the time to help people out with development issues or who write up wiki articles, tutorials and other information that helps people getting a grip on the whole subject. Always demanding also gives the impression that developers are just lapdogs who will jump and model away any time a bunch of people think their favourite aircraft is missing from FSX. Developer's aren't mindless servants, they all got their own agendas. Sure, they might ask from time to time if there's anything the community wants and that would be the right opportunity to say "A P-26 would be cool". But outside of that, simply sitting there, demanding your favourite toy just doesn't work.
So please, please, please, please people, stop speaking for all of us (for me at least) and stop constantly demanding new add-ons (unless asked). It will prevent much of the respect I have for the FSX community from going down the drain.
Thank you.
Enough whining. Back to XML.

What? Bjoern is making a P-26 for us? Cool! Is it done yet?![]()
Man Bjoern, cheer up! Relax. Take a break. Go watch some Ren and Stimpy...! Smile.
I don't think anyone is demanding that anyone make any particular plane. Developers make what they desire and we as fs hobbyists are very very lucky that we get to fly so many other types of great planes than the defaults. I and no doubt many are very happy with anything they make. Wishlists are fun tho, I am sure many of us has a handful of wishlist planes they would like to see A2A make, a handfull they would like to see RealAir make, a handful for Bill...etc, and we already have full hangars of planes already made by these great developers with many years of enjoyment left in them. Most of us are fully aware that 90% of the wishlist planes will never see FSX, and that is perfectly fine, there are already so many good planes to fly.

I love Ren and Stimpy, the early episodes. When I needed a good laugh, I watched it...
Now... Go back to your XML and bathe in model code...
Oh... I would like to see a really nice Dornier Do-328.
