• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Multiplay patch --- inoperative on my machine

Have downloaded and installed the patch.
The multiplay function is still not working for me.
As soon as multiplay and the mission is selected the game loads, i hit fly,and it then waits about 30 seconds and goes back to the multiplay select screen the same as befor.
The only way i can get multiplay to stick is by killing the O.F.F. manager. this is on a clean reinstall of the game and patched to 1.2.
could be my machine or set up i suppose.

Hi PD, just tried it here and it works fine. It was tested fine too by WM and others. Make sure you choose a valid mission maybe, try one of the supplied tests just to see if it works?

It is something your side, it was tested quite a bit. Firewall changed, something in the mission etc?
Check sliders haven't reset or something?

YEP,WITHOUT TESTING YOU WOULD NOT HAVE RELEASED IT FOR SURE.

I think it has to be my install as it burps on my missions or the ones with the game.
ill do another install and another patch install to see if that helps.
