I think you might have mis-understood (apologies if I'm wrong)
The override timeframe setting defaults to your current piots date, so if you all have different dates for your pilots then all these settings will be different for all players.....hence my comments about different planes from different eras of the war.
It's just worth a go setting this to be the same for everyone I'd say. I know it didn't make a difference with P2, but who knows?
Cheers
Hi,
Yes, I did think of that when we where playing. We had the same date (11-5 xxxx if i am guessing right).
But, if you you look at that screenshot you put up, at the bottom, there is the drop down (Custom mission selection), where EVERYONE must selct a mission before they can continue. This is the part that seems to confuse some people in this thread, as in off2 only the host had to select a mission. Now, what everyone chooses to select may be a mute point (ie, everyone does not have pick the same mission). After you select a mission from that drop down, you move on to the next screen where you click on the mp medal, select host game etc etc. On more than one occaision, however, we made sure we all picked the same mission.
The major problem we had in the multiplayer game is that when the host game is up, and he commuicates his ip to the other players, within 15 seconds of the first player joining, the host games goes down. Because no one is sure of the proceedure is for that first mission selection drop down, we are sort of concentrating on that as a possible reason why the host game is going down. It may turn out to have absolutly nothing to do with that problem.
But, do appreciate the help, and i dont think anyone is going to have a problem with accepting the fact that when the devs get to it, they will get to it.
