Got Teamspeak working. Looks like I'm good to go all around!

Now to wait for a fight!

not sure if pd's post was for me or not, but just to be more specific, if from the off2 main menu i selct multiplayer, then hit accept to the next windo it takes me to the hanger. from the hanger i select the multiplayer option, and then select host game, after I select game options it tells me i need to sign up, and after I select a name/password it says not connected to internet. If I select join game and enter an ip (I used tobeornot's from this forum) it says the same thing, no internet connection.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong.

Sittingduck, I'm not sure what you want to do....host or just join an existing game.

Either way, the MS gamelist is not functioning, so you'll get some messages as you've seen. Hosts used to get their games on the 'List' but now one has to tell people their
current I.P. so that joiners can input the numbers in 'Join Private Game' .

actually, would like to be able to do both. However, in both instances, (and using the ips that have been posted to join private game) I get a message that I am not connected to the internet.
If I try to host a game, it tells me I have to register, and when i try that it tells me I am not connected to the internet.

trying to put a copy of scren into this, not sure it its going to work.....

OK, I'm going to attempt to host a game.

Here is my IP.

0.0.0.0:28883 (this is what ctr H gives me)

I am going over to OFF now and will wait for a few minutes to see if anyone shows up.

Yes! You have to do that port forwarding thing for your wireless router.

I don't have a router, but I found this (old) document that should help you....

Firestorm, thanks, that helped a little, in that when I went to join Ax's game it at least made an attempt to connect, before it would just give me the no internet message.

But still will not allow me to register.

Axgrinder, I really dont think thats your ip......I have always used the site whatsmyipaddress.com.....however,,,,considering that i cant even get on, i could be wrong....

Looks like my router is messing me up. I don't know how to change the settings to get it to work. I would have to bypass my router. Can you get on Teamspeak yet?

If you try to connect with me you'll be unable to connect unless my game is running.

Also when you host a game, don't forget to uncheck the box "publish my game on th cfs gamematch server" cause the server is down.
