I've retired myself from flight sim developing, but I'd gladly assist wherever possible in any P-51 development for MSFS.
Oh no...but what about the B-25 (and the P-39..)???

Another detail I thought I would mention too is the paint on the landing gear handle. From the factory, it was never painted overall red - that was something that only first took after WWII, in the 1950s when the cockpits of some in the USAF were painted black. Originally, from North American Aviation, the gear handles were always either painted entirely flat black (with white lettering), or interior green with only the rounded end painted red (with black lettering).
The only way I'd be able to get back into FS development work is if I were to win the lottery. At this time, working two jobs, I just don't have the time for it while still having time for other things that I wish to do/enjoy more. As I mentioned here some months ago, I'm just a casual flight simmer now, eager to support anyone else developing warbirds for MSFS (and DCS).
Thank you Prlller, it means a lot to me year to read that!
I support this plan. I still fly your mustangs in MSFS.Well John, win the lottery. Please.

It's the age-old argument with this one. I think it is fair to say that from a commercial perspective, the larger amount of potential market, especially MSFS, when thinking of a P51 Mustang, will think P51D. If we were to develop a P51 for P3DV5 say,we might look at the B or C models but here, we aim straight down the middle of the runway.
