Meanwhile here's another camo one from the late 1970's - XV495(L) of No. 56 Squadron RAF. F-4J standing in for FGR.2. Maybe one day a proper post-1980 F-4M will appear complete with later tail-warning radar housing atop the fin..... Hint hint!!

Zsolt, your outstanding paints, along with other painters, Dave and Stovall included, are such an inspiration to me and often motivate me to buy aircraft I might normally not even really want. However, the Phantom was always one I wanted and just wanted to say thank you for the fantastic work you've been doing, even taking requests.

If I may ask though, what are the military bases you use? I want to install all the military bases I can after getting my latest install to work now, with REX, ORBX, MT6 Pro and FS Global. It looks great but want to fly the military birds out of much nicer fields than what ORBX and MS have put together in McChord Field and Whidbey Island NAS.

Thank you kindly good sir. Looking forward to downloading these fantastic paints and now, with much more realistic backgrounds.

Hi,

Colin says that he could (fairly easily) add the boxy thing on the top of the rudder to "make" a RAF type F-4. That would be as far as he would go for that though. It would be added by check box.

Any interest in this?

Thank you.

Kat.

That would be great as far as I'm concerned and would suit Dave's lovely paints very well indeed, although the particular RN paint scheme above would suit the J just as well.

BTW Kat I've been meaning to ask as regards the new J/S product... have you managed to make it so the nose is jacked up for Carrier launch?

Matt

Hi,

Colin says he will try and have the boxy thing added in the S/J release.

For the raised gear, wait and see.

Thank you.

+1; adding 'the boxy thing' would be great. Plenty of 1980's/90's lo-viz schemes would fit then. MDIvey, my two camos were specifically chosen because they depict the aircraft before 'the boxy thing' was added in the late 1970's, so no need to wait for an update. When that arrives I can do updates for the aircraft as they appeared with 'the boxy thing'.

Will look at RN ones though the underwing serials might take a time as they overlap the wing-fold hinge (which is one reason I chose the easier later scheme!).
