MV F-4E Phantom II Released!

Hi guys

Sorry Iam new and this is my first message.

Ok. you're right. It isa mistake I want to fix this.
I also want to fixthe brightness of the fuselage.

Now I'm in working in SAF repaint, but when finished this job. I will be working in improving thisrepaint

Regards
Joe Laars

Thank you! Your effort is much appreciated. I know it is not a simple repaint and I think you have nailed the feeling of it. Roundel is a small detail but easily fixable.

Thank you

It still take some time because it is a real job for a real plane of the SAF. We are designing a good drawing.(I think...)

I dont want forget the phantom, because it is one of my favorite aircraft ... Childhood memories, you know... and MILVIZ is finishing an impressive project.

Yes, I want to return with F4. Especially in refining my repaints ... and my blog because I have forgotten and needs some works

Regards
Joe

To the owners of both this phine looking Phantom and the equally great F-15E from Milviz my question is this, How do the frame rates compare between these 2 fast movers? Specifically is the Phantom higher or lower on fps. On my system the Strike is a little heavy but usable. I want the Phantom bad but if it is the same or heavier on fps then it wouldn't work out that well for me in the end. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

I think the F-4 is better on frame rates as it is. I don't know if this will even out when it gets radar and such.

No any problems with fps (like with JF Tornado...). Here I have in the air 55-59 (blocked at 60) and on the airfiled 44-48 so very good and stable levels.

To yoyo and Dumonceau, do either of you have the Milviz Strike Eagle how does the Rhino compare more or less fps than the Strike Eagle?

IMHO the Phantom is a better performer than the F-15E, but marginally so. Both are excellent performers on my rig.

Hi friend.
Why you have blocked fsx at 60 fps? Are you running without vertical sink and forcing vsink in fsx.cfg ?

Just for information.

Tks

Hi Andrea, V-sync works for me for sure (cfg mod), but half a refresh rate is too less for me (30fps).
I see differenece in frame per seconds with more than 36 vs 30 but decided to take for full refresh rate of monitor.

There wont be a drop with the radar display because it is actually already in place and optimised etc. Just not operative because a few key pieces of kit necessary for TACPACK aren't in. Its all on the GPU anyway so if your GPU is good enough, no hits.

Superb Screens YoYo :adoration: ... I would hate to be on the receiving off that firepower on a strafing run ! I'd really be doing the :running:

Hi,

To my knowledge so was the last USAF F-4E to go to war from the 3rd TFW/3rd TFS from Clark AB in the Philippines. They flew late model E's with all the addons which were available and were among the last USAF E wings. For operation Desert Storm the 3rd sent several F-4Es to Incirlik AB, Turkey, were they flew missions as part of the 7440 Composite wing. Among these E's were 73-1199 which was painted up as the "Flagship" for the 13th Air Force (HQ also located at Clark).

So how about some feedback on how the Phantom handles.
What do you think of how it flies with external stores?
