My Do's are nearly ready ..

Ted, is that extension at the tail one 'a them crazy air-brakes those sleds have at times?
...also, were the same areas ever used to store life-rafts, or*(?)?....:fish2:

*picka'nick lunches? or "the loot"? or... HEY!!, what's he got in there, huh?

(Even tho' they IS slower than molasses (or frozen asses(t)) during the slo' season... me still luv ta fly 'em cause they is BOO-TEE-FULL!...) Thanx, buddy!

Tail

The n2's all were intended to have the parachute brake. Some did and the brake was not very effective since it was controlled by a wheel behind the pilot's seat. The plane had a max speed between 325-311 depending upon who you read. At those speeds a brake was well not needed.

Several of the bomber versions used the brake but all in all it was a failure and not needed. The Do 217 was not an effective dive bomber as the Ju88 was so most Do 217's were used as level bombers. I like it since it is unusual and well fun to model.

The life raft was stowed in the top side of the fuselage directly in front of the Schrage music.

Ah,

These are the first ones that I did 3-4 years ago??? The new ones are so much better!

where will you be, posting your new updated work of art for the flight and

game enthusists' - of cfs3-& addons

That radar looks awesome... I'm sure you polished it up some so it is even more beautiful! I bet it could help whoever is building the P-61...

Geeze, 3-4 yrs??
..clearly I've been out of touch... Tho' I still enjoy 'em...
Are ya gonna update ALL the old types??
(yeah, the guy's prolly hoping for some kinda run-down...:fish2:)(tee-hee)

Updates

The only ones that are not near completion are the K2 and M1 versions. The K2 had extended wings and carried the Hs293. The M1 was Dorniers most frequently used bomber and a number survived the war. These has a completely new nose section and well require a fair amount of work. I do a meshes for these but they are along way off.

Oh Yeah!

I wuz offline when you released 'em...
nice stuff... I can see why ya has a soft spot fer these sleds...

BTW, the pits are amazin'!!!! (and a belated thanx Ted!!)

Wow, Ted... Now that I've seen the K-2 :)trophy:) WIP it almost seems like the JU-188 (especially for you) would

AAMOF I half expect to see a WIP shot of one now in response... (wishful thinker strikes again!! :karate:)

Hi Guys,

Are these released to the general public yet, or are they in testing mode?

Is there a link I have missed somewhere?

regards Rob.
