• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

My first YouTube upload. F-18 flyover.

awesome..i was expecting a 2 or 3 plane formation...that was a nice surprise....what was the occasion?

Nice... Bazzar's shot had 4 more bringing up the rear?
How many were new ones?

Edit: Oh, and well done, beating the Welsh out for Bronze in the Rugby World Cup!

I think it was more of a publicity exercise than anything else....but passed over a local car racing event also. This flight continued on a little further north and were joined by 4 new super hornets making 20 altogether. This flight then carried on along the coast heading south before passing over Brisbane city and back to Amberley RAAF base west of Brisbane.

I remember seeing a similar scene about 6/7 years ago :)...

...no Hornets mind....

...I'm referring to the Blue Skies!:kilroy::icon_lol:

This was a celebration of the last deliveries of the 24 F/A-18's ordered by the RAAF. The last four are brand new. They were delivered early and under budget and the Aussie's are very happy with them.
