It's my Timberline Lodge scenery. Timberline Lodge was used for the exterior of the hotel in the movie The Shining.

I remember the Whirleybirds. I think that show really sparked my interest in aviation, especially helicopters. In later years, I got a job working in the Gulf of Mexico. I was a "gauger" and my job was to go to the different platforms checking oil and gas wells. My transportation was a Bell 47G....
