on the 16th July this thursday I see my new heart Dr's in Tampa, then on the 22nd they will do the laser operation on my heart.

note I do not know why but I haven't had an "A-Fib" attack is 4 weeks today, 28 days, maybe it is knowing I soon will be fixed and I have no stress because of that.

believe me 4 weeks is a long time and I am surprised. it has been 8 days to 20 days max and 18 hours when i have an attack.

You could very well be right about the no-stress effect, lots of things can lead to A-fib. Hope the ablation goes well.

I hope and pray everything will go well for you, Ickie - not only as a flight sim aficionado, but as a fellow cardiac patient as well. We'll be awaiting the good news when you complete your surgery!

I wish you all the best Ickie.Get well soon.
I had a triple bypass over a year ago.Wish
they could do it with lasers.

My wife had this done in her 30's and since has had 4 kids and great health. Hope all goes well for you Ickie, my thoughts are with you.

Take care Ickie, glad your heart seems to have settled down. The laser treatment should keep it from coming back. You new doc will know what to do.

My Army partner, (been close friends since 1974) had this done last spring, and he is MUCH better.
Keeping this in my prayers for you.

Prayers coming your way, Ickie. I hope you see an improvement after this surgery. Thanks for keeping SOH alive and well. We are here for you always.

today i am having an A-Fib attack it has been 31 days since my last attack, and the longest time between attacks in 6 years. It hit me at 6:30 AM, I got up at 5 AM and I felt fine, but after the long walk with my old dog I started feeling HOT and sweaty, like the air conditioner wasn't working, I knew then because the air unit is only 4 months old, lol. Sure enough when i took my blood pressure with my state of the are cuff, I was having an A-Fib attack. Still having it and they usually last 18 hours.

tomorrow I see my new heart Dr. in Tampa

OK next Wed 6:30 am I will be in the Tampa James Haley VA Hospital, and BTW the only person having surgery that day, kinda odd but that's what I was told.
This surgery will take about 4 hours, not to over heat my 4 valves in the upper chamber of my hart, each will have a burn from laser all around them 360*.
I will be in the hospital until about noon on Thursday.
I was told I will also be in bed for a few days when I get home.
