My new ride (I wish)

The hood looks wrong to me to be a Jag. But I'm thinking the old ones too.

Nope. That would be a Ferrari 250 series...Not sure of which year without seeing the back end, but they run somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-20 million dollars.

EDIT: Looked it up, and I am wrong. Doesn't have the hood buldge. Wonder what it could be. Definately has that late 50's early 60's Italian design look to it though.

There was a front cap for a A H Sprite "Bugeye" that looked like that. I had a "Bugeye" and wanted that front cap. The year was about 57 or 58.

An old TVR maybe? Front end is similar to the Grantura or Jomar.

-edit-
On second thought, it's probably a kit car.

I don't drink, so I didn't post, didn't want to give it away, but Monari is what I was going to say. LOL.

Good quiz, I don't get stumped by many old cars, but gotta admit this one had me. Also that is the best looking one around I'm sure. :ernae:

I was going to say Ferrari Testarossa, early edition with pontoon finders, but RoadRunner 440 said, no hood bump.

Wild design. I see it is registered for flight in the land of dust, cactii and pyramids.. .

Note that on our license plates, they depict the desert dust lands as being dark purple. Artist misconception. FSX got it right... Beige.. Beige from horizon to horizon.....! and then some.

Well, a little bit of dusty green in there also but I do love the desert.
