Yes , that is the FSAddon Lysander

Curiously enough there was perhaps one of the strangest looking fighter aircraft of WWII made with that airframe as a base model , it had two Browning machine guns in the wheel pants ( as the say in the UK ) and another four in a turret mounted on the rear end .

The model shown isnt in the package but may well end up being included if i get it finished before Francois gets the Docs and scenery/missions completed , if not as a bonus post release.

I dont think i included the Alpha channels in the paint kit Jan but they can lifted from the bitmaps in the texture folder and are there to differentiate between the metal and cloth fuselage elements and wing parts, any help you need please send a PM and i will take care of you personally.

Apparently that thing flew really well right up to the point at which they crashed it... It's definitely one of the war's odder looking kites, though, isn't it? :d

I've got one that you might like, Jan Kees, if you do decide to take up Lizzie decorating? I'm not sure if someone isn't already doing it, however... Will need to check that.

I always thought that "split tailed" version of the Lizzie looked like something from "Crimson Skies". :icon_lol:

Yes, it would be a nice Bonus to have, if possible. I'd be very thankful to be able to fly a Lizzie in FSX, it was one of my favorites in FS9. :applause:

Now that's something i'd like to take for a spin...

Brilliant!

Hope to be able to purchase or download it somewhere :guinness:

I already lifted the Alphas of the textures, thanks Chuck.
There are a few annoying mirrored textures though, like the rudder, the wheel pants and the rear canopy.
Still, it's fun to cruise in the moonlight :

tell me more??

I seem to have lost the scan. I'll do it again at work tomorrow and post it when I get back.

I have an entire book of Lysander paints, but one Far Eastern scheme in particular for the III(SD) which might interest you. It might also be nice to do Hugh Verity's V9637 (MA) "J" if you can find suitable info.

Really looking forward to this one! especially the 'Delanne' Boulton Paul turreted one!

Here a nice scheme if your still looking for Ideas!

A restored Westland Lysander (serial V9367) was a Mk IIIA (SD) that flew with No. 161 Squadron.

Er, Peter... Look more closely at Jan Kees's first shot right at the top of the thread. Or... Oh. Go on. I'll make life easy for you. :d

Edit: jankees beat me to it!

Francois was last seen working on one... Naturally, the planning and location are, however, secret. :monkies:
