I just couldn't wait any longer for the FSX version so I dug up my old Aerosoft A-10. With the non glare models she looks decent in FSX. I wish the FPS were better in the VC but it is useable I guess.

Is there any news on a FSX version? I heard the original author had some major health issues and was dumped by Aerosoft (sorry if thats oversimplified). I'm very eagerly awaiting a new version.

Congrats (I think...?) to Aerosoft for having the only portover on my hard drive. :medals:

Do any of you guys have a single plane you can't leave behind from FS9?
 
I actually have lots of ports installed, BUT I know they are ports and I d/led them from the FS9 sections, LOL. I personally like trying them out to see how they work, deleted lots of them, tried to fix some, but kept a few that only had issues I could live with.

My fav port is the payware nemeth EC-120 on floats, while it has some gauge issues, I like the feel/look of the VC and the floats are cool
 
I think the JustFlight/AH Tiger Moths are the port I use most often. I haven't got any "user" ports installed on my primary FSX installation, only ones used for AI, but on my XP32 install I have a number - all things that aren't available for FSX and I wish were.

I don't have any ports since I installed FSX. I did try one in the FSX beta release, Jeff Marsh's Skua, been my one and only try so far. Still got 9 installed so I'm in no hurry to add more.

I tried to do this.
W/out directions I am SOL. I get the bottom part of the 2D panel in the VC?? WTF..
How did you guys do this?
 
I haven't "flown" FSX since xmas....but from memory the Hawg required a change to the X & Y figures at the bottom of the panel.cfg.
 
Lawdog, I had the same issue, and corrected by changing the line in the panel cfg file from....

render_3d_window=1

to....

render_3d_window=0

That fixed my problem. I hope it works for you as well.

How about 200 or so in FSX! Last count was 270 in the airplanes folder, sutract the ones that came with it and and a dozen or so ones for X all the rest are port overs.:jump:
