My Pilots in ETO (British, American) changed uniforms

I opened my ETO in 1943 ERA to test some new missions.

To my surprise my Pilots (British and American) were dressed in summer uniforms for the desert.

The uniforms were Tan shirts, Tan shorts knee length and Tan knee high socks.

I shut down the 1943 ERA and reopened my ETO in ERA 1 where the Pilots were in the new uniforms.

I then opened my BOB, PTO, and MAW and the Pilots were dressed in the old uniforms.

I like surprises but this one is a mystery?

Could someone explain this one to me?

You must have installed my RAAF-RNZAF Kittyhawks into ETO without reading the instructions completely. I supplied replacement Khaki Drill textures for the British and Empire pilots which are appropriate for use in MAW and RS, but unfortunately not in ETO...

It says:

Pilots:

The enclosed 'characters' folder contains texture files for the main RAAF and RNZAF pilot figures used in Rising Sun. These will give them the correct Khaki Drill uniform.
Use these at your own discretion, and back up all original files.

All you need to do is replace them by copying the appropriate figures back out of another install. I did upload some improved RAF pilot skins some time ago, but they appear to have vanished without trace.

OOHH shorts in the ETO! Wasn't flying in winter I hope, you pilots unmentionables would have dropped off and rolled behind the rudder pedals!

I'm not having a go at anybody, but if a modder takes the time to add a readme, please take the time to read it!:untroubled:

Thanks Nigel

I am 73 years old and get excited like a kid for all the projects from you.

Finally I have the correct uniforms for MAW.

John had a great reply that I appreciate and know that his work like yours is excellent.

Thanks

Easy to get carried away, I know! Well, be patient because there are a couple of RCAF P-40Ks in the works, including of course Ken Boomer's...
