Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

My repaints..

SOH-CM-2026
AussieX seems to remain down for the foreseeable future, so I have started to upload my paints elsewhere, i.e. here on the outhouse as well as on avsim (better spread the risk..).
I'll try and keep you updated here and on the P3D forum, as it is going to take a while.

So far, I have uploaded:
My Carenado D18S paints (3 so far):
jk3599

My AH P-47 bubbletops (3):
jk3444

My Milviz P-38's (20):
P-38-024

My Grumman Goose's (12):
ss10641

Would it be possible to upload the two FCS Hurricanes that you previewed in the previous post "Matts Repaints" item 366.Thanks in advance.

Regards Paul Day.

I don't think I ever painted a Hurricane??? That would have been Jeansy/Matt I think.

Meanwhile, I continue:
Carenado's Aero Commander (2):
jk637

Flight Replica's P-40N (4):
jk307

Flight Replicas Bf.109K (5):
ss3706

Just wanted to say a big thank's for the Real-air Spit paints you uploaded, my favorite payware of all time :very_drunk:

Thank you for making them avaialable again.

LouP

PS. Though a few for both turbine and radial Otters would be nice ;-)

Question...

Good morning,

Hey man, you're really working me hard here. :very_drunk: I don't mind the abuse, but do you have any idea how many more are coming through? :dizzy:

ouch, don't get me started...
If I limit myself to the stuff I have running in P3D, about 400 to 500 left to go..
Mirages, B-26, A-20, C208B, B200, Widgeon, Helldiver, Typhoon, Mosquito, Hellcat, F-86 and some more
and that is without A2A (another 500) and Captain Sim, but since I haven't got anything from them in P3D yet, I thought I'd leave those out for now.

Jankees,

Don't limit yourself. Go ahead and upload everything you's like. I will do a good batch of approval in the morning and in the evening, and so I will probably approve and sort them all over a week or so.

I have to download each one and determine the original date of upload, make the adjustment in the entry, and then cluster the generated threads and put them into the P3D / P4D or other thread tracker.

It takes a bit of time to do that, so if I know there are a lot more coming, I'll corral my OCD urges and just do them at a more normal pace. :encouragement:

Jankees,

Great. I'm going to a baseball game tonight, and so I'll leave my phone at home to "unplug" from SOH for the evening. :applause:

Baseball? But that's the most boring thing in the world! I know, I went to a few when I was living in the US...all I remember are the hotdogs.
