my surface pro rt 64, 1 month ago went out, so i ordered a new power supply because the light was off on it.
a week later it came in and after charging all day the tablet would not turn on, so i ordered a new battery pack well it took 3 weeks to get here. arrived yesterday.
I took apart the device and found the problem, where the battery hooks into the unit was cooked and broke. It is now in the trash.

I have been using a tablet to monitor SOH all night long for about 6 years, the old tablet died 1,5 years ago and the surface rt 64, was a good buy, did not know it wouldn't last. I really like it.

I slipped you two sawbucks this morning via SOH. Please use it toward this tablet or a good equivalent. My condolences on Haney.

To try and make you laugh...I wish someone could get your life's "country song" to play backwards, especially with your health issues. You need a break...
 
it here and works great

thanks to MS cloud it took about 30 minutes to get it all setup as the old one, pictures and doc's and settings, thanks to the cloud.

I am now sold on the MS cloud and will never bitch about them spying on me.

I simply signed in and they sent me a con # and when I placed it into the window bingo. all was there.
 
today I did a ms update and they added the start menu back to the surface 8.1 models
now I am really happy
