My Tongass has frozen!

FSX Acceleration!
I'm amazed or is it just me or does the ice and winter weather seem to creep down into the Tongass area? I've noticed that CAB6 Scud River is now Frozen solid in ice but Cab 5 is still fine, as is Sitka, if this is meant to happen? If so I'm immensely impressed!
Here take a look...

CAB6 Scud River is frozen.. Litterally on Halloween too lol (hope its not a ghost haha)!

Looking from my top view using F12 I can see the ice coming down and I think its great, but is this meant to be or is it my system, I only noticed because scud river is my main base of operations for amphibs and its suddenly gone hard. lol (One thing though guys I was flying at early dawn and I litterally couldn't see the differance so I landed wheels up and I had a nasty crash, so that's another lesson learned for me)!

Regards Pete!

P.S. Got my albatross sorted Roger mate, thanks for the info big man!!

Hi guys,

also, when seasons change within the Tongass area depends on latitude, elevation, and coastal vs. inland position. It's one of the great new features of FSX that allows for creating seasons files that are specific to about a sq km and our Beta tester Bob Gerdes, who lives in Petersburg, provided first-hand information on when seasons change where.

Cheers, Holger

thanks Holger and Francois, peter2213, for this thread, my Tongass disc is in the mail on the way to me. so I'm glad to learn more:ernae:
