I have installed everything into the right folder, I have run CFS2, aircraft does not appear, anyone know why??

Did you check the sound aliasing to make sure it's directed to a plane you have in your aircraft folder?

Call me a newbie, but how do exactly do I do that?
Thanks,

Jack

Open up Sound folder if it doesn't match any sound file in game it won't work U can use one of default sounds from CFS2 or get the excellent sound files from the Outhouse sound files section, the same applies for the Panel. Hope that helps.

Jack, in the sound folder is a file called sound.cfg, it will look something like this:

[fltsim]
alias=A6M2_Zero\sound

Tha means that the sound is linked to the Zero default engine sound of the Zeros in CFS2. You can downlaod separate .wav files of the real engines and other sounds here at CFS and at the Outhouse. Just unzip them into the sound folder of the plane you want to add to and let the new sound.cfg overwrite the original game .cfg. I'm a newbie too, one of the first things I was advised here is that the plane will not show without sound. Sometimes a plane file will unzip a folder inside a folder, that's why I unzip to a Hanger folder, modify the plane if I want to, and manually place it into the CFS AIRCRAFT folder.

Hope this helps.
