Nachtpiloten's Dornier 217E Sea Eagle Pack Uploaded at Beau'sCFS3

These six aircraft are of three versions; the E-2, E4 & E-5. They cover units KG2. KG6 KG40, and KG 100. the zip includes all the necessary files: Aircraft, tk_shared files, weapons, pylons, Briefing manual and airfield facility files for extra take off space.

All the units were involved in anti-shipping for varying amounts of their carrers, in the Biscay, North Sea and the Med.

It's a big download at 45Mb but you get a lot for your bits/sec!

Sorry no there isn't. I do intend to do another Sea Eagle mission pack in the near future, but for now you can use the current Sea Eagle pack and substitute these aircraft in the bomber missions. Get it at the same download section under missions.

Just a heads up once extracted you will see a zip file inside the facilty folder called TK_Dornier 217 File set.zip, this is a duplicate set of files, and does not need to be unzipped. it just remakes the weapons, pylons and Facilities folders again.

I have a small problem :when I run the planes in QC and I restart the game it shut`s down.So I have to remove the planes after using them if I want a clean restart.:banghead:

The aircraft are there mate, underneath the Ju88's in the Sea Eagle section, but there aren't any missions specifically written for them.

try flying one of the stock aircraft before exiting the game. see if that helps you with your CTD,

:isadizzy:Me too. Everything is fine except I can't get the vc to display, no gauges , just a jumbled cockpit frame. I Got all em tk share files.
 
There is the ai_Do_217_E2_3EHN and the Do_217_E2_3EHN (this for every ac), fly the second, the first one should be unflyable ;)

Well ...

There are two sets of planes for each, ai and the flyable versions. When you select the planes the ai versions will appear first in the list of available planes.

So do not select for example ai_Do_217_E2_3EHN, but rather Do_217_E2_3EHN which appears depending upon how many planes you have somewhere well after the ai choices. OOOPPPPS! should have let you know but well. The ai planes allow you to have 8-15 0f them up at once without a huge FR hit.

Yes, I made this error at first too and well went nuts for a few minutes until I sobered up ... what sobered up bah :ernae::ernae::friday::friday::friday:

...but you know that one can hexedit the air file, so that the ai versions do not show in the aircraft list?

I've sorted the zip out and uploaded the corrected version, note to self do not compile zips just before bed!
