Name This Aircraft (New WIP)

That's fantastic Paul, great choice of aircraft. :icon29:

A seriously fast floatplane capable of 270 knots.

Can't wait!

Owen.

Paul?...any possibility of doing the land plane model version?...the taildragger?....its a fixed gear...non-retractable...maybe that would be somewhat easier to do? vs a retract version?....

This aircraft pictured has what is known as ferry gear and I will be making this version as well as a static model with beach gear for the scenery designers. The ferry gear was used for its named purpose but was also used for land based support of the ship. There were usually two SC-1 aircraft on battle ships late in the war and when the ship would be stationed near a land field the ferry gear would be attached and the aircraft would support the ship from land. The beach gear was installed in the water and attached to the pontoon allowing the aircraft to be pulled onto shore for maintenance or to remove the pontoon and install the ferry gear.

Something I have not been able to find so far is cockpit pictures. If anyone knows of some please let me know.
