I saw this on another forum in a thread about inanimate objects with faces on them, and I was just wondering if anyone could identify it.:rapture:
 
One thing you can say about the Brits, they win the trophy for unusal aircraft design.
 
I got to see the last flying RAF Shackleton fly. It was such a lady as she flew by with those wonderful RR Griffon engines pounding out the horse power.

I've got it down as the "Cody British Army Aeoplane No.1" that was first flown 16th Ocotber 1908, the first powered aeroplane to fly in britain, weather it had any nicknames or not i dont know :)
 
I was saving this one for a rainy day in the Historical Wings Forum, but it should be a fun one here.

And no, it's not a PBY Catalina
