• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

"Near Miss"

Thanks Bub;

That's too funny, I now have seen Her as a Redhead, a Brunette and now a Blonde.....

Where did you dig this one up at?

Don't even ask......:faint:I found it on a Russian modelling site that wouldn't translate and tried to upload some nasty stuff which, thank goodness, was caught by my Norton. There is a book, "World War II Nose Art in Color", that has a picture of the art. Other than that, its all I could find. Hope it works for you.

Bub

The one one the Right I have, the one on the left I've not seen. Thank You, now I know which colors to use... Did you notice the section of the nose plexi that's been recently replaced and has not been painted yet?

Well after patching all of the pieces and parts together...........
She's actually starting to look something like the real deal.

Thanks for all of the help tracking down this one.....

Now we'll have two from the 405th (Tokyo Sleeper and SC's Dragon), two from the 498th, (SC's Red Wrath and Near Miss/Hilda), two from the 499th (Dirty Dora and I've decided to go ahead with Hell's Belles), two from the 500th (SC's Tondelayo and Hell's Fire) so that leaves the 501st.... I've got a couple more for the 90th but those will be part of me and Jagd's BoBS II Project when he gets back.

Time to put the Brush away for the night and go have some fun....
