Need a beacon, want a beacon

I was on the design team with Lars for his Lear 25 project, as I have real experience on the 25D. I can tell you how we made the beacon effect.

Long story short, it is a taxi light effect attached to an object that is constantly rotating behind a red lens.

Hope that helps.

If I only knew what that meant in english.....lol sorry for the sarcasm capceo, I'm just not sure how to apply that to anything :isadizzy:

Howzzat again? My blue collar solution was a dull red steady background with a second pulsing red in the same spot. Together they look pretty cool. Those rotating beacons always have a little scatter light so they are never completely dark. I'll give them till sunrise to answer my query then I think I'll post it. The CFG is so butchered it's hardly theirs anymore anyway.

Sorry all for the delays. I chose the worst time to arrange to get this out there-the Big Crash of late, so I'm waiting for things to get fixed up. I decided to use this time to make a white version and continue to refine the look over-all by adapting some other values from other fx files. Don't get too excited but it still beats a strobe look.
