The other part of the warhead is how it works, it's not your grandfathers
Olds-er a bomb that is. This will have to have some very special effects
to make it work like it really did and special damage for both ground and
ship damage. I have a long way to go on this,but I am closer do to the

It might behoove you to graft part of the DP file from the Kamikaze series of A/C onto the nose of your Flying Bomb... Perhaps ?

The problem is that the warhead is not a bomb in a normal way, it is a
shape charge of about 5000 lbs. The blast go's forward and has been
said that it will burn thru 24 ft of armor steel in a heart beat. It would
also send alot of debris out the other side and do damage to objects
and ships. It's something that will take time. ckissling
 
Maybe it is possible to create two virtual bombs/effects in the same *.dp file ?
- one with large explosion-radius and
- another much heavier with very small radius?

Or set the aircraft up as weapon/rocket and the warhead as own bomb, too - so the two different weapon-effects are actually in two different objects.

And I have another idea, that might help: The probem with dropping objects is, they drop separately.
But the M10 rocket launcher by Dbolt was made out of different sub-objects for example.

The modelfile itself has only entries, which call the other library-objects.

So it should be possible to make a new weapon "Mistel", whichs modelfile calls your stripped Ju plus the warhead and maybe the struts on top of the Ju (if they drop with the Mistel - I don`t know).

As you will see in the pictures the aframe and the Ju88 can fall as one.
This Ju88 is listed as a bomb, note there is no control for the props or
gear, this is one of the things I will try to overcome.
As for the other pics, well I had some glue and somethings laying around.

There is also an object "spinning props" out there, extra for this purpose.

The KM Ju88a-17 had it's panel aliased to the Ju88A-14. If I can alias
the Ju88 panel and the Fw190 panels back and forth, I might be abel to
control both planes. If I can contol both it will a lot better to fly and take off, as it is now it's a bear to take off from a runway.ckissling
 
Hey whitehawk and wolf, I resemble that remark! I'm a semi young retired IL copper not that terribly far from Ottowa, ILLINOIS that is.
Though these days, IL is not sucha good state of residence to claim........:focus:
 
If nothing helps, how about using the Ju 88G Mistel made by Frenchee with a special alphachannel for the bitmap to blend out the not needed part of the model?

Unfortuantely some untextured parts remain, though.

The props are the mentioned AI-props.
Didn´t they came with the Mistel pack by Frenchee?

I'm not sure about the Mistel AI props, but there is a good set of twin props for Kirk's KI 48 Lilly in an update package for that airplane.

I'd like to find a single prop set up like this that could be used with pre GMAX/FSDS V2 AI single engine fighters. It could rehabilitate many older CFS 2 airplanes that were made with the older Abacus programs.
