I am stumped.
This surfaced also on the linked thread at about #194. Changing the static height to zero - which in the Midway/Forrestal/Kitty Hawk models is contained in the same sim.cfg as the ship - has not fixed the problem. I have these carriers on tracks on Yankee Station (3 track fleets which look cool) but the deck pack/plane formations slip off the deck whenever the CV starts to move. It seems like the planes do not accelerate at the same rate as the carrier but then they both stabilise at the same speed, with the planes a few hundred yards behind.
Q: Should the static height be other than zero? Lazarus I think configured the Bonaventure with the boat and planes in separate folders. both with slightly different (-2.2 vs -2.75 I think) settings. Is this a tweak you need to make to the acceleration/deceleration entries?

Thanks in advance.
