Need help with my CFS2_MTO install

:isadizzy:I have installed Four installs of CFS2.
They are Cfs2, Cfs2_PTO, Cfs2_ETO and Cfs2_MTO
My problem is that I can not install more then 43.9 KB in the mdlnames.

If I do The Free Flight has an error and is unusable.
I have been trying for two days to fix this thing and I am about to call it quits.

Can anyone shed some light on what my problem is?
Where have I gone wrong?, and what can I do to correct the problem?

I have no problem with the other three installs.:salute::salute:

John,

If that's what's causing your problem, just don't add any more to the mdlnames.txt file. It won't affect conventional game, and really doesn't cause problems in Mission Builder, either.

It's kind of like the old doctor joke..."Hey doc, it hurts when I do dis." "Well, then don't do dat." :mixedsmi:

I can not end it that way. Do you or anyone else know what is wrong?

I wasn't trying to be "flip" about it...CFS2 does have some quirks like that. None of my mdlnames.txt files in any sim are that large, and there are other problems, such as having more than 1,550 or 1,600 .dp files in your OBJECTS_DP folder in a single install.

You are also undoubtedly familiar with the 100 plane (and ship, though the latter is in debate) limit in CFS2. This is simply another quirk.

Yea, I know about the 100 plane issue. I had 98kb installed when I started having trouble.
I was trying an airplane that I installed and all of a sudden that's when the free flight would not work.

Hi John,

Unfortunately 37 kb or thereabouts is the size limit to the mdlnames file before the sim starts to protest.
