• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Need help with Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska install

I could use some much needed help/advice in installing UT Canada/Alaska v1.2. The main install goes okay, but when I start up FS9 and go to the settings -> scenery library, ultimate terrain is not listed. I installed UT into my main FS9 directory (C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9). Any ideas on what may be causing this? Here is a screenshot of my scenery library after UT is installed

 
No answer for the problem (other than manually entering UT in the settings -> scenery library) I've asked things on the UT/Flight 1 forum and it's taken weeks to get an answer. Places like SOH you can usually get some kind of an answer within a few hours.

Also make sure you run the UT Cfg exe in the UT folder
 
Weeks? I've had a question/problem a few times in the past and always got excellent service. Those guys are the devs and know what they're doing. That's why I made the suggestion.
