I'm thinking an incorrect logistric format, you could check it with another format wording from another mission. Even check line for line against a good mission. I know it takes time and effort but that might payoff big for you + getting you familiar with mission files. I've had trouble using certain weapon set ups with CTD results when another weapon on the same mission and plane worked just fine. Neaver bothered to find out what the trouble was, I just deleted the offending weapon line.

In your main Combat Flight Simulator 2 folder you should see a txt file named "error". Open it with notepad and it will tell you the problem.
Then you are at least closer to figuring out the problem. If it is scenery, one of the other guys will have to assist. Otherwise it is usually a fairly easy fix.
Devildog73, I never paid too much attention to the 'error log' but yes, it does pin point problems with missions that you have been using as I have just found out first hand. Funny, but it's been four yrs. and I'm still learning basics... don
