• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

Need some help from you guys...please

Don't have the $50 but I managed to find $10 in my wallet before the moths fount it.

Have most of the D/ware aircraft but problems with some of the gauges prevent a portover from FS9 to FSX.

Anyway good luck with your drive.

Cheers
Pat

Caught me at a good time Moe, PayPal donation of $50.00 sent to Ickie from his Announcement post. This is a great place, in fact it is my favorite forum on the web, better than all the modeling forum i am signed up to. I rarely visit them these days, modeling is almost out of my life, costs too much and the people are nowhere near as friendly and helpful as the fine folks here at SOH. You guys and gals are the best! :applause:

I just wish there were some way that us simmers could have a convention and meet each other face to face and bend some elbows. :ernae:

Ya don't need to travel...

Yes there is ... It's called Skype. Not in person but the next best thing.
Skype will carry up to 27 people in a conference call. Video is restricted to 2 people only.

A webcam, mic & speakers is all ya need.

Got a group together in "the basement" called: "Dirty's Dozen".
Been doin it since January. It's the best way to work together; share ideas, troubleshoot problems & develop new innovations.

This has become a indispensable tool for building the Vietnam-4-CFS2 project.

The best part is that the group of "names" we knew 10 months ago in the CFS2 forum; have now truly become a "Band of Brothers"

Skype is 100% free. It only costs $$ if ya hook yer telephone up to it.

Hi all,
I like many others here have been hit by the credit crunch. This has caused a large number of job losses in the UK.My wife's among them.As soon as she gets another job I will send a donation.Hoepfully that will be very soon.

Short of cash here, too. Must be somethin' goin' around. $20 on its way; wish I could send more before Nov 1.

Hey guys I know we are all tight with our money and I 100% understand. The way the job market is it wouldn't surprise me if anyone gave us money.....You do not have to give 50.00 bucks, the staff understands that some just can't do it right now which is fine. We have a hell of a good group in here......if you have have few bucks fine ..if ya don't that is fine too.....nobody will feel any diferent towards ya...Mike

Think I've got all the donationware planes already (amazingly even stuff I didn't really want until I got it), so I just sent some money your way instead. Glad to help with upkeep!

Brian

I donated last night.
