The exam was 2 hours long- yet not long enough considering that we had to write four essays! I did nine and half pages of A4, but some did way more...

its not how much you write, but WHAT you write I know what you mean about not long enough, my art exam was 2 school days non stop (cept lunch obviosly) and i still didnt finish

This is very true, I some GCSE's last year and got excellent results I saw people writing way more like 6, 7 pages for English, I wrote 4 and got an A, now why couldn't I have done that at school?

Like Stiz said, it's not the quantity, but rather the quality of your essays mate. Pretty sure you did fine!!
