Need some parts...beta testing

Hey guys,

I have a late afternoon dinner out, but I should be home by six. You can tell my mom's reached "the senior zone..." she likes dinner earlier and earlier. She didn't want to go out on Mother's day because of the crowds.

Kevin,

I removed the "use all your ammo" mantra. Basically, get in...get your hits...and get the hell outta dodge!

We also got the problems ironed out with the Sky Unlimited Bf-109f.

I'll test the fix in the AM - too tired right now

I think I narrowed the problem down to the SU_BF109F_2 and it's sister SU_BF109F_4. This seems to be the common denominator between the three missions where a crash occurs soon after the aircraft come within tracking or visual range. I tried adjusting the underscores _ and capitalization in folder name compared to the .cfg. I even tried original and optional skins, all to no avail.

Since Rami and Kdriver can't duplicate the problem, I'm writing it off as another Windows 8 glitch. This ought to make testing the German side missions very interesting, whereas, I am told, these planes are used quite frequently in that campaign. Since this is so, and if I have the same problems again, I'll give up and pick it up with the Italian campaign portion of this set. Moving on...

Got the first German mission under my belt. :applause: I had to do it in a darkened room in order to see, but all went well. I'm going to alternate German - Italian and see how it goes. :running:

Mission 1 for the Italians checks out fine too - a furball!

I'll try to get some screenshots of the next missions

When attacking the B24D_LIBERATOR

...do not approach the formation from the 6 o'clock level angle. They'll do this to you at 1000 yds. This was my second attempt from 6 o'clock and slightly below the formation of three - those twin .50s in the tail are deadly! (German Mission 17)
