Need some spiritual help

My wife has been in and out of the hospital since early October. The original diagnosis was pneumonia. She was released, but then had a relapse and had to go back in. Since then it has been one thing after another including blood infection, heart problems and low blood pressure. I don't think they know what is wrong. When she was home she could not even get up and I was doing almost everything. She was dismissed just before Thnksgiving, but had to go back in today. They found occult blood in her stool and, although unlikely, there are several horrible possibilities. Perhaps worst of all, she has essentially been off her feet for about 2 months, and hasn't got the strength to stand up or walk. It's time the medical sciences got a little bit of help from a higher power. I ask for your prayers and POSITIVE THOUGHTS. P.S. One of the unmentioned virtues of CFS2 is that it can help you to take your mind off things.

Hern07,

I will start praying tonight and will continue to do so, hoping that she not only stabilizes and improves, but that the medical tests she undergoes will reveal the cause of her problems. I will hold you up as well, knowing that sometimes the person who is not sick has it just as rough.

Best wishes in the meantime...

Prayers will be coming from myself, as many churches as I can get you and your wife added to the prayer lists of, from dozens and dozens of members of this site.

I know that the prayers that have been sent Heavenward on behalf of my wife, Deb, have made a world of difference in her recovery, in the success of the surgery and in both of our spirits.

And...we are here if you need to vent, give good news, or if you just need a willing listener or two.

Hern,

God's speed to your wife for a full recovery. I can't imagine loosing my wife of so many years so we'll pray for yours.

Thanks Y'all. We've been married about 30 years. We have had ground breaking arguments that have set new neighboorhood standards, yet I love her. Matter of fact we had a small argument before I left the hospital. Something about me not being mature enough to manage the house without her and she knew I'd be spending all my time on that d--n game and not taking care of the animals. If she felt good enough to give me h--l she must be feeling better. I do believe that prayers and positive thoughts make a REAL difference, so keep it up if you will. Oh, Jadg, by the way, where did my green smiley go?

You are in our thoughts over here as well.
The benefit of world wide support is, its active 24 hours.

My thoughts, prayers, and best wishes to you both from Blighty.

Prayers coming down range from "down under". Let your Lady know that the people that share 'that game' have hearts too and are only too willing to offer moral support, Bless Her

Prayers going heavenward... and God is bigger than ANYTHING this earth can throw at you! Give the Missus my very best! :wavey:

Thank you everyone. I hope you know how much I appreciate this. Watchdog, Ann has no problem with CFS2 when used in moderation. I might have some small share in the responsibility for her attitude. One Sunday she fixed roast beef and when it was time to eat I suggested she eat by herself and bring me a sandwich at the computer. She didn't think so. You old married men ask your wives what they think their response might be. Again, thank you one and all.
