    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Need some spiritual help

I did not mean to open two threads and will ask the moderator to close this one (title too negative.) When everything happened Sunday morning I needed emergency help THEN. Her blood pressure is stable now without medication, but they're still concerned about renal failure. Her sister and I were sitting with her this afternoon when she woke. She can't talk, has tubes down her throat, but was able to communicate with squeezing our hands. Eventually they asked us to leave because she was becomming too agitated. You might think that the prayers didn't work. Yersterday they thought she would be released today and had disconnected her from all of the moniters. A nurse was giving her medicine when she suddenly stopped breathing and her heart stopped. They were able to start right away and revive her. Fifteen minutes either way and there would not have been anybody but her in that room and no one at the nursing station would have known she was in trouble.. She is doing better, heart is functioning ok, no neurological damage. Although they are still pulling pneumonia gunk from her lungs and renal failure is a possibilty, the doctor thinks she will be able to come home someday. It will be a long time after a series of baby steps. I will not give any more reports except for real mile stones. As for the efficacy of prayer. I'll be blunt. She was scheduled to go home the next day and wasn't getting constant monitering. Plus she was at the end of the hall. If someone had not been with her when she coded she would have died. Please thank your churches and prayer groups for us and don't forget us. Hern

Yeppers, like it or not, Ann is a member of the Basement and will be treated like such...but only in a nice way. Prayers are still forthcoming from this location.

A good unexpected milestone. She was taken off the breathing apparatus and is breathing on her own. She is talking eventhough I can't understand everything she says. Producing more urine (with help) and that indicates the kidneys are functioning better. To reiterate, she had no problem with CFS2, just my obsession with it. Thanks all, I don't care what anybody says, ya'll are good people. That's no:bs:
