Nemeth BO-105 now released

Maybe there needs to be some better communication there George. I find it odd they would release a model without the feedback of one of their main beta testers. I also find it odd they they have an FSX beta guy that doesn't use FSX normally.

Knowing how you are with your reworks of others FS9 models, maybe you could get them to include more variants (like you do) in the future.

Scratch, I doubt a Nemeth Blackhawk would provide anything different from the AS model. I'd love to see them do an AS355 though :d
 
MD500 Littlebird and Bell 222...you didn't hear that from me:costumes: Plus I know the bigger list of helicopters that they want to work on, I'll keep quiet on those for now. And yes, they have a Blackhawk in the mix...but the 160th SOAR variant:d

If I bought up the subject of additional variants, Peter would give me the run-around stating that it would take longer to develop and that more material would be needed since they only work with material they have already in the collection. I for one gathered as much Bell 222/230/430 material as possible in hoping that someone would do one. I am working on a freeware model, the Nemeths are going to make one and Cera Simaircraft is also making one. Peter is looking for a Bell 430 manual so they can produce a Bell 222/430 combination pack but haven't had any luck finding one, only for the 222A/B/UT series.

Its not about how many more models can be produced without making the filesize go bust, its all about material and how much can be provided. Hope that explains why no PAH variant was included, I even searched for closeups of this model (they prefer closeups) with no luck:redf:

As for beta testing the birds, I wish that they wouldn't release the models that fast without having a complete check of the package. This would eliminate alot of patches/fixes and not to mention, headaches:costumes:
 
And before I forget...if you want to see your favorite helicopter done by the Nemeths, you better be prepared...seriously! What do I mean by this? You have to provide to them a digital copy of the actual whole flight manual/pilots operating manual, lots and I mean lots of exterior/interior photographs (especially the interiors), sounds of the actual thing (if one is based near you or have been attacked by one:costumes:) and anything else you can get of that particular bird.
 
Thanks for the info George, guess it comes down to what the developer wants. I wouldn't think the PAH model would be hard with the existing military version, close up images or not.

Little bird sounds really great, but they better include a fully armed version ( in addition to the guns, a set of Hydra 70 rocket pods AND the hellfire option) or there will be lots of upset customers, LOL

I am VERY impressed with the performance in the VC of the 105, but how am I supposed to man the gun and fly at the same time, where's my pilot figure? :d
 
Will look forward to the Littlebird and 222 (will their be an Airwolf version?:d). Things are really looking up for FSX Helo flyers...Aerosoft and Dodosim are developing Hueys and there will be a great freeware Gazelle released "soon" too.:applause:


PS. I always thought that a collaboration between Nemeth and Dodosim on a heli build would be a match made in heaven?........make it happen!!:costumes::wavey:
 
Hi all - make another one - this time the very nice camo-paint. So she could look like, as Company Demonstrator. Its fictional but i mean it`s nice to fly low-level with her.
 
Nice one fireball!

Had some time to actually fly her this morning and I REALLY like this addon. easy on the frames (which is my biggest concern), lots of detail, and the 2 versions give it more options.

Did a quick fictional Afghanistan National Army camo repaint and have been flying around Kandahar this morning, very fun! Marks dusty rotorwash effect really adds to the immersion!

Anyone have an idea what other markings might be on the heli? Id number?

Hello MCDesigns, hello Gizmo - great repaints !!!!!:jump: Downloading yours during i`m writing here Gizmo. Before the CBS-Version is flown by the German Federal Border Guard they use the shorter C-Version. MCDesigns - that`s a nice camo. Waiting to add it to my hangar.

Yea I know, but I got shot at by a Cobra once and I don't trust the narrow 'lil snake eyed bastards.:tgun2: I like Blackhawks cuz I can carry stuff in 'em and with those huge fuel tanks I can have longer flights.

Doh seems i forgot to add a GUI thumbnail.jpg file to my above repaint package...i'll get one put in first thing tomorrow and reupload the package

but if anyone wants to add there own just drop a 256x128 jpg named thumbnail.jpg in the texture.[FONT=verdana, sans-serif]d-hgsb folder

Next b0-105 i was looking at doing was going to be PH-RPW Dutch Police or the canadian coast guard (someone pipped you to the post with a first request)

so far i found 2 schemes for the german police BO-105

If i get time i'll do both but no promises as once you start taking requests it can kinda snow ball and get out of hand hehe
