Nemeth MD 902 Explorer released

Thanks for the panel shots Joshquin and Michael.

Having bought the EC-135 and fly that one around a LOT, I feel the panel of the MD900 is on the dark side. IMO there's definitely got to be legibility issues of lesser quality based on how close the shots above are in comparison. Even after looking at different panel shots of the RW helicopters I get the feeling of looking into a huge black hole on the Nemeth MD900 panels.

Granted, all the pictures from Airlinerlinersdotnet appear to be enhanced by the flash of the camera taking them.

Direct links edited to attached text file below.

On another note; Bigger textures of the panels would make a world of difference.

My first repaint is now ready. Download here..

Looks nice, but I think I'll be passing on this one. I'm still enjoying the Cera Bell 212 and the Nemeth's own EC-120B and MD500 models. And I think I will be be for some time to come.

I used to think the same, until I started using the Russian Bloom Effect:

Now anytime I look away from the outside and down at the panel the panel brightens and looks just as it should...

I highly recommend it.

It slipped my mind about the Cera Bell 212 until now. That's when I went and read the lengthy topic and viewed all the great screen shots and seen all the excellent paints available. Not to mention all the great videos. That's where my funds are going this time around. Thanks for letting me see the light. And save a few coins for my next purchase of a known Huey currently in the works :)

Yeah its the 412 for me, although the 212 still has a lot of exercise here also as well as the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior! :salute:

Still this looks super and I can't wait to buy it!

How fast is the B412 compared to Cera's B212? They both look great but I'd like to have the 412 if its faster. Also can you start either with ctrl+e?

As much as I like the 412 and the 212, the modeling/texturing in the VC, especially around the window frames is far superior in this bird than the bells. That is the main reason I don't fly the Cera bells as much, it's an immersion killer for me to see that. Having done a few aircraft, I find creating a realistic looking VC to be the most challenging part.

If the Nemeths ever do an AS 355 the same quality as this MD, I will be in heaven!
