I agree 100% Maurice!

Great job guys!!

I have done the second "Lifeliner"-Paint - Lifeliner 4 - as you can see below. I will upload them tomorrow. The other two also.

Greetings :wavey: Dirk

we see it a lot over us as it chases people on the Ferndown bypass!!

You wouldn't be one of them by any chance??!! ;) LOL!

I used to live on the eastern edge of Wool, so saw it coming and going from Winfrith at all hours. Now I live very near the hospital in Dorchester, so I see G-DORS all the time.

I've made a few mods since the WIP above. Tackling the reflective textures now. Hmmm...

Andy

I can't believe the amount of textures for this one! :isadizzy:
The paintkit looks maddening. You guys doing repaints have my respect! :salute:

Final Dorset Police WIP. Spot the difference...! ;)

Hi Andy - well done mate.

Good spot at Dorchester. I used to visit me father in the hospital and his ward overlooked the helipad and as he used to love flying - it gave him something to watch from time to time.

Are you planning any more repaints? Im just about done with my limited skills.

I anticipate this'll be my one and only paint for the Explorer.

Now I've played around with the Alpha channel on the Explorer I feel I need to go back and check my paints of other models... which'll keep be very busy!! I know for sure I need to revisit my paints for the EC-135...

I am still clueless with Alpha channels - I must try harder!

It's kinda like a film negative, back when folks still used photographic film.
Black is shiniest, white flat. Does that make sense or help? :kilroy:
That's the way I look at it...

EDIT: In fact that's how I start out on most of my Alphas.
I create a black and white copy, then use "Negative Image" effect. Go from there.

Hello Airtrooper - nice Paintjob :ernae:, there is one small issue with it - in the texture.dorsetpolice - folder i miss the ndmd900_e03_t - texture.

Start with some civilian repaints - here is the first one, almost ready .........

:wiggle: Greetings Dirk

Hi Dirk,

in the texture.dorsetpolice - folder i miss the ndmd900_e03_t - texture

That is entirely intentional. The texture.cfg should reference the ndmd900_e03_t texture from the ..\texture.1 folder. This works in most cases. If it doesn't work, simply copy the ndmd900_e03_t texture from that folder into the texture.dorsetpolice folder.
