Hello lep117 - yes it looks very nice but i am not shure that i can replicate the lines in the area of the backdoor - i`ll have a look at it later, but i promise nothing ......... Some areas of the model have distorsions that looks not good in my opinion.

Good luck with that one Dirk! The lines on the tail will also be hassle as they run through the middle bit!

If you want me to email you my Mercy Air Tail to act as a template and save you time - just let me know.

Hello gajit, thank you very much for your offer - i have a closer look at the picture and then at the templates and decide that I wil not paint it - sorry lep117, this paint is out of my skills. If you like, i can do a white one with blue additions and swiss registration.

I dont blame you - i think that even on the fuselarge there will be 4 places (on just one side) where lines will need to match up - i find that so time consuming. I could do 3 paints in the time it would take to do this one.

That is what i mean - some paints look so easy and very cool on a picture but on a flightsim-model it could been a nightmare. I saw the distorsions at the austrian ems-paint which was included in the pack and i try a few lines at the kit and decided that i did it not.

Another hour of painfully slow progress. Who ever designed this paint kit is a ..........

If this was a cera 212 or 412 paint it would have been finished by now.

I can sympathize. I have spent hours and hours (on other choppers) doing repaints..and when things go together as a jigsaw puzzle it's a real PITA. Sounds like a much needed break is needed. Maybe move to another paint so you don't lose the inspiration to frustration

Hey gajit - you did a lot of great repaints - this one seems to be a real "Fun-Killer". So please, don`t be frustrated. It is the paint themself and the "a bit tricky" paintkit that causes the problem.

Hi Oleboy - thanks for the encouragement. I cant go to another paint or I wont return LOL I moved to other bits - 2 more hour has taken it a bit closer..
