Hi Oleboy - thanks for the encouragement. I cant go to another paint or I wont return LOL I moved to other bits - 2 more hour has taken it a bit closer..

It's looking real good gajit. Fantastic job

My thoughts whenever I do any repaints of that type..the riddle.
The challenge of complexity has always been my drive. How the model is mapped, that can be the true test of patience. The more detailed the paint, the more gratifying the end results when I conquer it.

Sorry for not replying to any of your replies, but I was out of internet for a few days. But you know there is one thing I can say and that is: You guys are amazing. The repaint looks 95% done. Great work guys, Well done. I can't wait to fly the bird!

Nice of you to say but it was more needing patence than skill - you have done far more intricate paints in the past, :salute:

Thank you gajit - i find that in this case, patience is a great skill - this paintkit need a lot of them.
I play a bit with the alphas and specs to get a "silver" look. To test it, i "create" two versions of a
fictional Police-Repaint for the Northrhine-Westfalian - Police.

Two new Police-Paints on the way ..... South Yorkshire - and Humberside - Police Helicopter.
Did someone know what lettering is at the frontside of the Humberside Helicopter above the Policesign ? Could not find a Photo that shows what it is.
