Glad the package was release. Unfortunately, I couldn't test the last beta as I am going to some tough time at the moment (work wise, in-laws and moving).

Peter is eyeing the Bell 430 more as the next product, I'll need to gather more and more info and pics for this bird. He has a manual already and some images. The sounds are going to be a bit tricky to get, but I have some sources for these as well.

i dont think thats possible in fsx is it??? :help:
It most certainly is. Acceleration brought a whole new set of rules to the helicopter game. Go start your EH-101 up and see what happens.

This MD500 has startup sounds too iirc.

It's lacking a bit in the cockpit. It's not too detailed at all imo. But the general feel, flight model, sounds and price are good.

Also the textures don't seem to support reflective alpha maps.

Anyway here are a few shots of a repaint I just did, with custom spec maps to boot. I wanted it reflective but alas, nay. The real aircraft is an MD-500E so there's a bit of artistic license being used.

I'll try and put it up on various sites when I get a chance.

Hi Dan

I agree with your comments re the VC - but at least the FPS is high.

Great repaint :ernae:

It is great to see some upcoming repaints - try to do a few by myself - in the near future :gossip:.
Do you plan to upload your "modified" camo-paint, McDesigns ? Hope so - it looks nice and fit the Chopper very well. Also the "Kiwi"-Paint from Dan. :ernae:

:help:Any chance of this one, i've tried but failed miserably
I know it's the wrong model, Bob did one for Piglets OH-6 (last pic)

Ive been working at Shoreham airport today and saw a real one :wiggle:

There seems to be few repaints about at the moment. Perhaps its twerly?

I plan on it, still have the original work, so hopefully, it shouldn't be that hard, will have to see when I can afford it, probably this weekend. :ernae:

Here is another "Civil" - Variant. Used for "SecOps" - (Security Operations). Nothing special - change the colors a little, add some details here and there .......

Hope you like it

Greetings  Dirk

Forgot to say - the Pilots and Gunners are from Chuck Bosn`s Honolulu Police Repaint (available at hovercontrol.com)

Has anybody else noticed this thing pitches back when in flight? Even when there's no collective it will tip right back on it's tail. Is that accurate or is the FM wonky? lol
