New Airport Scenery

The surrounding textures don't appear to be stock FSX. Could I ask what I would need to use to have your airports blend so well?
 
Your work is always a joy to fly in and out of Ed.
Such attention to detail and a seamless blending with surrounding scenery.

Thank you for this - it's on my list for when I next do a USA itinerary.

That's correct, I washed my hands of the default ground textures many years ago. Orbx Basic and Vector basic are the base textures you see in any of my WIP screenshots.

Have you ever compared Orbx base and vector with Ultimate Terrain and Ground Environment X? I'd like to improve Europe and Africa now that I'm sailing and flying around the Mediterranean, and the cost of installing UT and GE for those regions (I already have them for North America) is probably more than Orbx Basic and Vector on sale, and they cover the world.

Of course, it means I have to wait till Orbx has a big sale.. and with MSFS2020 coming, who knows what that means? Though, given my investment in planes and the type of planes I prefer to fly will likely mean I'll be sticking with FSX for quite some time, as I'm not all that excited by the offerings of MSFS2020.
 
Woo Hoo. Driven by there a ton of times. Soon as I saw it so close to the interstate I thought it was Northhamton. Looking forward to this one

Billboards added, although they are not the current boards or even the ones shown in the images posted above, they are relevant to the Northampton area though.

Scenery is complete, mulling over if I should do an "Airport Boundary" version for those who do not have Orbx. I hope to have this airport and the Pocono Airport released some time this weekend.
 
I've got an issue with this scenery. My plane crashes on landing and on take off? has anyone got the same problem?

Cees is it on the rwy 32 end by chance? I went back and checked all the objects "crash Boxes" and discovered one "light splash" area box that wasn't tagged "No Crash" and it overlaps that end of the rwy.

That's it! Thanks Ed. The alternative BGL did the trick! I wonder why no one noticed this before?

Well, for my part, about 3 days after I started flying FS9 I turned "Crash Detection" off, lol. When I moved to FSX it was the first thing I did as well, so that may be why, lol
 
What scenery design program are you using Ed?

I used EZ Scenery in FS9 but can't get that to work in FSX.
