New An-12 Cub with VC!

Glad you like them, my paint hanger is about empty of An12's now, I decided to finish a Ukraine airforce scheme.

Steve ....

I just want to thank you for all your hard work repainting this beast :applause::applause:

We certainly have plenty of textures to choise from now , and I for one appreciate the effort you've put in :ernae:

The Air Anonymous textures ... I've searched but can't find them .... were you going to release these ?

Thanks again :icon29:

Pete.

Thats because I have been playin with it some more. I will upload it if you want a copy.

I have just uploaded three more paints. they will show up once admins done it's thing.

I've decided to do one last scheme, I just can't leave the An12 alone lol.
A very early WIP shot.

It's alright mate I found a 3 litre bottle of coke in the fridge, and about a weeks supply of coffee, that should get me by :icon_lol:. The wings have bin causing me a few probs with the way some bits are mapped, the trailing edges are wierd. but it's getting there.

Steve,

She looks really great. :applause::applause::applause::applause: Thanks for all your efforts. I'm as happy as one can be with your repaints. :jump:
Looking forward to your Il-14 repaints too. :wavey:

Cheers,
Maarten:guinness:

Heres a piccie of the other side, ignore the insignia the poor old An12 has had so many identity changes in recent weeks its gone a bit schizophrenic:icon_lol:

I have just uploaded the Egyptian Cammo scheme. It will show up later once admins done it's thing.

Nice Work SteveB!!:medals: New life for the ol' "Coot" (NATO Code Name for the An-12 I believe)

I have seen this plane in a couple of youtube viddi's.

Just grabbed the Egypt paint before retiring last night, installed it a few min ago and it's GREAT! Thanks Steve!!!!!!

Hello Blackbird,

Actually the Ilyushin Il-18 was code-named "Coot". The Antonov An-12 was code-named "Cub" (and her "civil" twin-sister AN-10 was code-named "Cat").

Cheers,
Maarten
