Thanks for this kind feedback, gents!
Glad you like my first steps here at the "Dark Side". :jump:

The RCAF Dakota just got airborne.
Enjoy!

Cheers,
Markus.

Uploads to AVSIM, Flightsim and SOH done.
Texture fix for my previously uploaded KN269 (white painted cowl flap) included.

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Markus.

When attempting to d/l the c47_interior,zip file Flightsim gives the error message of "The file copyright/does not exist!". What is the problem?

Thanks for the nice repaints Markus! I love them all!

Hopefully I will be able to finish this one during the weekend! Still need to add some details and make a spec map.

Cheers,
Huub

Wow Huub, that looks great!
Manfred did a great job, way better than Just Flight, if I may say that :kilroy:

R.

Thanks Rob. Manfred indeed did a very nice job. As I don't have the Justflight one I can't really compare, but I definitely like the texture lay-out and the fact the textures are all in the same scale and not stretched. As said before, I hardly do any civil repaint, but this one is really fun to do.

Cheers,
Huub

Very nice work Huub! I try to limit the number of paints I add these days, but this is obviously a must-have!

It is indeed a very accurate model, and the updated VC works great!
It would be nice to have an inward opening door in the back though, just for those paratroop/Air despatch paints! :wiggle:

Okay,

You guys with your fancy airs and paints have convinced me.....

I am now going to download my 4th DC-3 model (including the default).

Manfred really did more than a great job.
Got all the paints and fly this old lady every day.
Can`t get the hands off her.
Michael

Guys might try going over to DC-3 Airways "dc3airways.com" and check out some of there stuff for the DC3. They are a DC-3 virtual Airline bunch. The out side paints are for the defalt and MAMM so they won't work on manfreds, but they have nice up dates on panel gauges and sound and flight models. Lots of good imfo and thing to read!!!

I'm Puzzled!!
Downloaded the c47basepack.zip and c47_interior.zip. Installed both and got the c47 with the
each plane and the new vc showing correctly. Tried installing a new paint. such as the
douglass_C-47_usaf_1944.zip with the new texture file and modifying the aircraft.cfg in the
traditional manner. Both the planes from the basepack show correctly in and out, but the
added paint shows the new paint ok but only externally. Inside the vc is painted with the MS
default blue textures!!!
Help please. What am I missing?

Try copying the texture.cfg from one of the two paints that came with the basepack to the texture folder of the repaint you've installed.

:)

Thanks, Ferry, for the solution, it's working now. Seems an easy trap to fall into, but I was not sharp enough to see the fix.

1960 KLM livery uploaded.

Hi all, the 1960 KLM repaint has been uploaded to the usual places.

enjoy,
Huub
