There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Avenger update
New Update
The outer model and the virtual cockpit are nearly done. Next important parts will be the gun turret and the engine. After finishing those parts, there are only a few parts left to do (lower rear gunner, tail hook, middle cockpit (maybe 2 versions) and finally the LOD models and bullet holes) a few Texture templates are always ready to be finished.
By the way the ship shown in one of the pictures below is the Chaun Maru; it will be uploaded the same time as the Avenger.

I'd like to know if you could send me a copy of the working model, with or without the textures, panels and bullet holes, so I can resume work on the 3 campaigns and 2 mini-campaigns I'm re-doing. I need it mostly as an AI aircraft in most of the missions, so the panels and eyewash are not needed. But in some of the optional missions in the campaigns, I will be using it as the player flown aircraft. The campaigns I'll be re-doing are: "USS Saratoga CV3", "USS Essex CV9", "Desperate Battles", "Battle of the Sibuyan Sea" and "Operation Ten-Go".
This aircraft will make a great accompaniment to the new ships, done by Maxstuka. All I need is for the name - folder and .cfg - and the dp to be the same as will be in the final version. If not, I will patiently wait for you to finish her. Thank you for all your hard work. The CFS2 community really needs a new Avenger.
