New Eagle preview time has been approved

i know if you're involved it's going to be a must have.
is there any chance you might do the fs-9 paint you did, green with the 4 leaf clovers?

Can you do inverted spins as well with this Eagle?
 
Very impressive stuff. What a beautiful model, especially the VC, some amazing stuff there. The US National Aerobatic Championships are out at the airport this week, so I've been out there watching some of the Pitts do their stuff. Can't wait to giver it a try myself.
 
I'm glad to see the Eagle 1 modeled along with the Eagle 2. Love the propeller sounds during those snap rolls!

The "don't forget lunch" sticky note reminds me of one I seen in a Stearman once that said "Don't do nothin' dumb"

The sticky note on my personal paint has a picture of Karen on, Matt's has one of his better half..lol, so you can put a 256x256 bitmap onto that post it note.. :D

I'm having great fun with the Eagle 1 at the moment, especially in 'show' config (15 gallons fuel) as it's power to weight ratio is quite something.. I can't hover her, but I can come close.. :D lol

I managed to put her on a knife edge on takeoff and use rudder and full power to climb out..not as good as Mr Skip Stewart, but better than a hole in the ground.

As a general rule of thumb, for the purposes of the product, the Eagle 2 is more your sports aircraft, aerobatic enough to have fun, and kitted with nav equipment for some enjoyable VFR tours, whereas the Eagle 1 is your serious aerobatic beast..it comes fitted with a 320HP Lycoming 540 as opposed to the Eagle 2, which has the more carbon friendly 200HP Lycoming 320. :D

Maaan, I'm having to much fun flying it and I should be working!

I had the priviledge of seeing Skip Stewart fly a couple years ago in Virginia. Talk about freaky, seeing him roll knife edge that close to the ground. I swear it doesn't look like the wingtip could be more than 4 feet off the ground !

Now get back to work so the rest of us can enjoy it !! (just kidding, if I were modeling it, I'd be playing too!)

As far as I am aware, you can do inverted spins... at least I know Chris Brisland found himself in one the other day (not sure if it was intentional or not! lol).

FINALLY! Just in time for the Eagle release I'm back (although with the new alternate account) to the forums :)
Thanx a lot.

Concerning inverted spins. I've also found myself in an unintentional inverted spin...
In a Scheibe C-Falke motorglider IRL! This was NO fun.
(The same day approx 1 hour earlier the father of my girlfriend died when his ASW22 crashed into the mountainside in the close vicinity because the turbulence was so extremely violent)

i enjoy getting into spins... it's fun, then again my idea of fun involves trusting life to some fabric above your head, or throwing the chute out freefalling without, putting the chute on while still falling, stabilising and deploying the canopy:icon_lol:
 
I have known inverted spins ever since I really did go into one in RW in a Slingsby Swallow glider... 1976 it was

unintentionally.

CFI was on the radio "Get out" - but I managed to fly out anyway.

Just had a fun session with Josh - both flying the '300s - very nice. But you do need to ignore the stall warning horn a lot...
