Folks,
I took a stab at creating a new fire retardant effect that combines the heavy, clumpy retardant effect from Milton's S-2T tankers with the older misty looking retardant effect that came with the radial S-2 trackers. Here is the result:
Start of the drop:
Dropping:
End of drop:
I'm going to post it here as sort of a beta. I'd like to get people's feedback on it. I'm pretty happy with the way it looks as it leaves the plane. But the further away from the plane it gets, things sort of spread out and "fall apart," which may or may not be noticed depending on what altitude you drop from. I have some ideas for how to tweak it further, but I wanted to get it out for people to try.
Just add "fx_GD_fire_retardant" in place of whatever effect you are currently using in your aircraft.cfg file.
