  • Server side Maintenance is done. We still have an update to the forum software to run but that one will have to wait for a better time.

New FS Genesis meshes!

Looks as though Justin at FS Genesis has added more states to the list of those being done in 19M. I hope he does a few more, too! I am loving this new mesh!!!

......I would like to see the ATAPS for FS9, though I doubt we will ever see it for our sim. Some airports could use a bit of adjustment lol.
 
Making this jump has transformed my FS experience; coupled with the appropriate Ultimate Terrain addons things are starting to look mighty spectacular - still learning, and still tweaking, as this can cause problems with a few addons (Toni Agramont's Balears has ended up with hotels in Med, might just be due to global warming though).
 
WOW! They just keep coming! Justin is a busy guy.....

.....In addition to the U.S. stuff, he just released British Columbia in 19M!!!! Wonder what is next? These are soooo nice!!
 
compare WA & BC with Holgers sceneries?

I have Holger Sandmann's WA & BC meshes, any comparisons around? I would like to support FSG, but I havent got a lot for this upgrade. I mostly fly in WA and BC...and Yerp.

I still wonder about my video card against the 19m mesh.

....Well, as for comparisons, I can't help much except to say these new 19M meshes blow away everything I have ever tried in FS9 for hi-res mesh, payware or freeware. They are that good. As for performance, I use a laptop with a Geforce Go 7900GS. I believe it is in the same range as your card, and my frames have been unaffected. hth
 
Speaking of BC it just came out this morning. Four files total almost two gig. This is great stuff. I can hardly wait for Alaska. Best to get the annual download for $100 if you fly over several different areas. Plus that way you can get the LOD 12 stuff, the alps etc.

Combine the Vancouver+ scenery by FSAddon with the 19m B.C. Mesh, and it's a sight to behold! It's simply breathtaking.

These 19m meshes have completely changed the way FS9 looks.

I can't wait for the Yukon and up to Alaska.

I'd pay for 19m for the rest of the world too...imagine the mountains of Europe, Asia, and Africa...drool...

Yep, right after installing I took off from CYPK and am heading north along the coast in a super cub. Really nice. And you're the main person I have to thank for talking me into it.
 
Does anyone know how this would react with Flightzone's Portland scenery?

Also, I have an old GeForce 8600GT card. Any problems with that?
